Welcome to my website! The picture above is the location of many of my stories, poems, and my novel-in-progress–the Willow Creek Valley in Eastern Oregon. The house on the right is where we lived during my early childhood. In the 1860s, my great-great-grandparents, William and Nancy Jane Harris Logan, bought land in the valley after the building of The Dalles Military Road, and four generations later my sisters, brother, and I grew up here. Johnny, my brother, still farms the original Logan land.

So often I long to cross the boundary of time, to hold out my hands, and meet the family who brought me life and memories of a beautiful yet lonely place. In my imagination, I try to tangle my memories with theirs–my stories are the result. Thank you for visiting and for reading.
